In California, all employers must meet workplace posting obligations. The Department of Industrial Relations requires all employers to post information related to wages, hours and working conditions in an area frequented by employees where it may be easily read during the workday.


NEW 2016 POSTER REQUIREMENTS

All employers must post the following:
  • Industrial Welfare Commission (IWC) wage orders
  • Minimum wage (state)
  • Paid sick leave
  • Payday notice
  • Safety and health protection on the job
  • Emergency phone numbers
  • Notice to employees--injuries caused by work
  • Notice of workers' compensation carrier and coverage
  • Whistleblower protections
  • No smoking signage
  • Discrimination and Harassment in Employment are Prohibited by Law
  • Notice of employees
  • Notice to employees: unemployment insurance benefits
  • Notice to employees:time off to vote
  • Equal employment opportunity is the law
  • Minimum wage (federal Fair Labor Standards Act)
  • Notice: Employee Plograph Protection Act

All employers using hazardous or toxic substances:

Employers operating forklifs and other types of industrial trucks or tow tractors:
